Scientific Atlanta's Broadband Data Book is Now Available!
Our compact reference continues to be standard equipment in toolboxes and back
pockets of industry pros who need quick access to accurate and useful HFC
network specs and how-to's. Ask your Scientific Atlanta representative for your
free copy today. It's been updated and redesigned with a spiral binding to stay
open and lay flat and it covers the latest technologies including cable modems
and digital signal measurements.
The information in Section 4 of the Data Book has been updated. This Section
shows, in graphical form, the 'tilt' of RF signal levels at the output of an
Optical Node or Amplifier, allowing system designers, maintenance and operations
personnel to quickly gauge the level of any signal within the operating
frequency range, and to 'project' the levels at higher frequencies when
bandwidth-expansion projects are being planned. Several of the most
commonly-used tilts are presented, and the revised data extends the previous
upper frequency limit of 870 MHz to 1 GHz."
