DBDS System Release 2.1 Express
Description
The Digital Broadband Delivery System (DBDS) System Release 2.1 is
designed for sites that are upgrading the DBDS to System Release
2.1. This browser-based electronic self-study course covers the
new features of SR 2.1 to rapidly bring users up to speed on the
new software and its differences. The self-study focuses on the
processes and tasks performed by a DNCS Operator to configure
auto-discovery of service groups and configuring SONET
architecture support.
Audience
This self-study course is designed for Digital Network Control
System (DNCS) operators or personnel who are responsible for
operating a DBDS that has been upgraded to SR 2.1 or that is
scheduled to be upgraded to SR 2.1.
Prerequisites
The following prerequisites are required:
- Successful completion of the
course Activating and Operating Digital Subscriber Networks
- Three months’ experience in
using a DNCS to operate and maintain a DBDS
